Between two sizes? Here's how to choose
Our sizes go up in steps of two: 50, 52, 54 and so on. If your measurement falls in between, here is our advice.
That's how small the difference is. From one size to the next, the ring only gets about 0.6 mm bigger in diameter – thinner than a bank card. It's hard to go wrong.
-
Thin ring: go one size down
Most of our rings are thin and delicate. A thin ring feels looser than a wide one in the same size, so choose the smaller of the two – especially if there is a stone on top. That way the ring won't slide round to the side of your finger.
-
Wide ring: go one size up
A wide ring covers more of your finger and feels tighter. Here you can safely choose the larger of the two.
-
Still unsure? Choose the smaller size
A ring that sits slightly snug stays neatly in place. A ring that is too loose spins around.
Our sizes follow the European standard, where the number is the ring's inner circumference in mm. So a 52 with us is a 52 with every other jewellery brand that measures the same way.
Buying the ring for her?
It's completely normal not to know her size. Here are the easiest ways to find it, without giving away the surprise.
- 1. Secretly borrow one of her rings
Ideally one she wears on the same finger. Place it on a piece of paper and trace the inside with a sharp pencil, or take a photo of the ring on top of a ruler. Measure the inner diameter and find it in the chart above.
- 2. Ask someone who knows her
A friend, sister or her mum often knows – and can keep a secret.
- 3. Send us a photo
Take a photo of her ring on top of a ruler and send it to us. We'll help you find the right size.
- 4. Make a smart guess
Our best-selling sizes are 52 and 54. If she has slim fingers, go for 50–52, otherwise 54.
- 5. Easy size exchange
If you get it wrong, the size can easily be exchanged through our returns portal within 30 days. Please note: engraved rings can't be exchanged, so be extra sure of the size there.
